Steven R. Kaplan is President of TransPerfect Document Management.
Kaplan joined TransPerfect's rapidly growing document management business in 2004.
Kaplan is responsible for the daily operation and growth in 24 locations worldwide.
Prior to joining TransPerfect, Kaplan spent most of his career at IKON Office
Solutions where he began as an Account Manager and was eventually named
President of the New Jersey Marketplace. He holds a BS in
Business Administration from the State University of New York, College of New Paltz.

Elizabeth Elting is President and CEO of TransPerfect.
Elting manages TransPerfect's day-to-day operations and orchestrated its
growth from a single office start-up to an industry leader, operating from
over 30 locations on 3 continents. Widely recognized as an industry leader,
Elting has been cited in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and
Crain's New York Business as a pioneer in addressing the growing demand for
high quality translations, staffing, and document services. Elting is also
Chairwoman and Co-founder of Translations.com.
In 1999, Working Woman Magazine awarded Elting the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award for Customer Service. In 2000, TransPerfect was recognized as one of the fastest growing privately-held companies in the US by making the Inc. 500. In 2001, Elting received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. In 2003, Translations.com was awarded the Deloitte & Touche Rising Star Award. In 2004, Elting was recognized as Woman of the Year by American Express and Entrepreneur Magazine. In 2005, Translations.com was awarded the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 Award.
Elting is an active member of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO). Elting lectures frequently at New York University's Stern School of Business, Columbia Business School, and to NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners). Elting received an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University's Stern School of Business and a BA in Modern Languages and Literatures from Trinity College.

Phil Shawe, Co-founder of TransPerfect, is President
and CEO of Translations.com, a company focusing exclusively on the
globalization of websites, software, and other multilingual digital solutions.
From 1992 until 1999, Shawe co-managed the day-to-day operations of
TransPerfect and orchestrated its growth from a single office start-up to an
industry leader, operating from over 30 locations on 3 continents.
Shawe received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001. Prior to his career in the language services business, he was a Financial Analyst at Chemical Bank and a Global Custody Consultant at Merrill Lynch. Shawe holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University's Stern School of Business. He received his BS from the University of Florida where he triple majored in Finance, Marketing, and Risk Management.
Chief Operating Officer
Chief Operating Officer Roy B. Trujillo has been with TransPerfect and our sister company
Translations.com since 1999, bringing with him significant experience in areas related to the needs of our rapidly growing companies. Prior to his employment with TransPerfect and Translations.com, Trujillo served as President and CEO of Leona's Foods, Inc. During his time there, his efforts were largely responsible for transforming a small regional company into a national supplier of high-quality natural food products. The products developed and manufactured by LFI were sold under company owned brands as well as most of the nation's largest retailer's private label programs. Prior to his time at Leona's Foods, he held various technical and management positions at IBM, SBC Communications, and Chase Investment Services. Trujillo earned an MBA in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies at New York University's Stern School of Business, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University.
